A practice administrator signs the Business Associate Agreement electronically in Security & Agreements. Until it is executed, features that show patient-level detail stay blocked.
Steps
- Open Security & Agreements.
- Read the current BAA.
- Sign it electronically.
- Download the executed copy for your records.
Sera stores the version you signed, the executed document and a cryptographic fingerprint of it. The block on patient-level detail is enforced on the server, not just hidden in the interface.
